WHICH COURSE IS RIGHT FOR ME?
A. As we have had such an amazing response internationally, you are able to purchase the Cheerobics® Home Study programme. To register for this you will need to complete the registration form and proceed to payment.
Q. I AM NOT A QUALIFIED DANCE / CHEERLEADING / FITNESS TEACHER NOR AM I INTENDNG TO. CAN I STILL BECOME AN INSTRUCTOR?
A. Yes! We have now changed the rules so that everyone can take the course now!
HOW DO I GET QUALIFIED?
Q. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO BECOME A CHEEROBICS INSTRUCTOR®?
A. Both methods of study (Home Study and London course) will require you to pass a theory and a practical exam. You will have to send us a completed workbook (with 90% pass mark) and a video assessment (70% pass mark) to gain your status as a Cheerobics Instructor.

A. the 'Exams' section. A 90% pass mark is required to pass the theory portion of the course. In your study pack you will be given a mock exam paper which you can complete with the help of your online tutor. We will go through the workbook on the course day if you are attending in London, or via your Skype tutorial session if you are going for the Home Study Option.
Q. WHAT IS THE VIDEO ASSESSMENT?
You need to submit a 60min video of you teaching a Cheerobics® class for your exam which requires a 70% pass mark. You will need to send the workbook and your video within 6 months of registration to stay within the time deadlines.
THE CHEEROBICS® INSTRUCTOR CENTRAL (CIC)
Q. WHAT IS THE CIC?
A. The Cheerobics® Instuctor Central (CIC) is the official online portal for Cheerobics® Instructors. It allows members to:
- Receive updates, tips and new Cheerobics® material
- Advertise your classes through our website
- Receive additional support to advertising your class
- Be added to the instructors search
- Access to the Cheerobics® instructor forums
Q. CAN I STILL TEACH CHEEROBICS® IF I AM NOT A MEMBER OF THE CIC?
A. Your license as a Cheerobics® instructor is only valid if you are registered on the CIC as this ensures that you are up to date with all the current information and resources which allow you to represent our brand.
Q. DO I HAVE TO PAY TO JOIN THE CIC?
A. The first year of your license is included in your instructor course, but you will be required to pay an renewal fee of £6.66 p/m (£80.00) via CHEER PRO membership.
CHEER PRO™ MODULE, MEMEBERSHIP AND COURSES
Q. CAN ANYONE ATTEND THE CHEER PRO COURSE?
A. That's correct. You do NOT need to be a Cheerobics® Instructor to attend this course, nor to use what you learned on the course to teach your own classes and create your own routines. However if you want to teach official CHEER PRO™ classes under the Cheerobics® brand (such as Cheerobics® Junior, Party or Dance) you need to be a qualified Cheerobics® instructor and pass the CHEER PRO™ module.
Q. WHAT IS THE CHEER PRO INSTRUCTOR MODULE?
A. At any point after you have successfully passed your Cheerobics® Instructor Course, you can take the CHEER PRO™ INSTRUCTOR MODULE. This will enable you to teach Cheerobics® Junior, Cheerobics® Dance and Cheerobics® Party.
Q. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PASS THE MODULE?
A. in order to pass this module, you MUST have the following:
- Be a qualified Cheerobics® Instructor
- Have attended the CHEER PRO™ course OR signed up to CHEER PRO™ Membership (available from the end of May).
- 90% pass mark on your CHEER PRO™ Workbook & Video assessment (3min)
Q. WHAT IS THE CHEER PRO MEMBERSHIP?
A. CHEER PRO membership will allow you to renew your license, log into the CIC as well as give you access to all of our choreography and exercise videos. You may of course sign up to CHEER PRO™ membership at any time or purchase the videos on demand even before the 12 months of your membership expire.
THE CHEEROBICS® INSTRUCTOR LICENSE
A. Cheerobics® is a registered trademark. This means you cannot use this name to teach your class unless you have a valid Cheerobics® Instructor license
Q. HOW LONG IS THE CHEEROBICS® INSTRUCTOR LICENSE VALID FOR?
A. The license is valid one year from the date of issue of your certificate (subject to our terms & conditions). After which you will be required to pay a monthly fee to renew your license via CHEER PRO™ membership (£6.66p/m = £80.00 per year)
